This is an insurance plan that protects a company from any accident that occurs during the policy’s specific period, dependent from when the claim is made. It covers a company even if the claim comes in after the policy ends or is terminated or if it occurred during the period specified.
Claims-Made
A policy that grants coverage for those claims that are reported during a period set forth by terms and conditions. If the policy is terminated, canceled, or is not paid, the claim will be denied even when the incident happens during the coverage period.
